Synchrony Bank Recurring Payments Authorization Agreement
To complete your request to enroll (or modify enrollment) in the Recurring Payments program, please read and agree to the information below. To ensure proper withdrawal of your payment, please provide the proper routing and transit and checking (or savings) account numbers from the bottom of your check when setting up your bank account information with us. To ensure that your Recurring Payment is processed and to avoid potential fees, you may want to consider overdraft protection, which is available at most financial institutions. We will notify you by email when the Recurring Payments program has been established for your account. Until then, please continue to make payments on your account as you normally do. If you have any questions, please call our customer service at the number on the back of your credit card or on your billing statement. Please print or save a copy of this Agreement for your records.
  1. Description of amounts to be withdrawn based on your selection:
    1. MINIMUM PAYMENT DUE as shown on your monthly billing statement. Each month please see the Minimum Payment Due on your billing statement for the amount that will be paid on the account on your payment due date. The Recurring Payments amount will never be more than the Minimum Payment Due; however, it may be less if credits or payments have posted to your account after your statement was prepared and before your payment due date.
    2. FULL STATEMENT BALANCE as shown on your monthly billing statement as your New Balance. The New Balance may range from $0 up to your current credit line, plus any charges over your credit line that are included in the New Balance. Each month please see the New Balance shown on your billing statement for the amount that will be paid on your payment due date. The Recurring Payments amount will never be more than the New Balance; however, it may be less if credits or payments have posted to your account after the statement was prepared but before your payment due date.

Here's an example of the Full Statement Balance option:
$1,000.00 "New Balance (as shown on your statement)
(-) 100.00 Additional Payment (paid after your Closing Date)
(-) 100.00 Credit (processed after your Closing Date but before your payment due date)
      ____________
$ 800.00 Recurring Payment Amount deducted from your account
    3. OTHER AMOUNT. This option allows you to select a fixed amount that will be withdrawn from your checking (or savings) account each month and paid on your account. However, this amount will never be less than the minimum payment due on your account. Please see the minimum payment due on your monthly billing statement for the minimum amount that will be paid on the account on your payment due date. If your minimum payment amount in any month is higher than the fixed amount you indicate here, the minimum payment amount due will be withdrawn from your checking account.
  2. From what checking (or savings) account do you want your payments deducted? (this must be a valid financial institution in the United States)
The routing and transit number and the checking (or savings) account numbers you provided to us when setting up your bank account information will be used to withdraw your Recurring Payments.
  3. Date of Payment
Each month we will deduct the amount of your Recurring Payment from the checking (or savings) account you have provided on your payment due date.
  4. Promotional Balances
If you have a promotional purchase balance, selecting to have the minimum payment due or other amount paid on your due date does not guarantee that your promotional purchase balance(s) will be paid in full by the promotion expiration date. It is your responsibility to select an amount to be paid that covers the minimum payment due on the account (or to make additional payments) in order to avoid fees and interest charges. Please see your billing statement for promotional purchase balances and other account details.
  5. Overlimit Amounts
If your statement balance ever exceeds your credit limit, you should make a payment that includes your overlimit amount prior to the due date. Do not rely on your Recurring Payment to resolve an overlimit situation.
  6. Cancellation
Once you have enrolled in the Recurring Payments program, you may cancel your Recurring Payments enrollment at any time by selecting "Cancel Recurring Payments" within this site or by calling customer service at the number on the back of your credit card or on your billing statement. Cancellation may take up to 2 business days. You will be notified by email when the cancellation process is complete.
